Yesterday in Kajetany we celebrated the hashtagWorldHearingDay. One of the main events was the Golden Snail Gala and the Charity Auction. This year, the Golden Snail statuettes were awarded in four categories to: Trefl S.A., the John Paul II High School Volunteer Club in Nadarzyn, Dr. Hab. N. O. Zdr., Dr. Eng. Prof. IFPS Artur Lorens and Dr. Eng. Adam Walkowiak, as well as the Nadarzyn OSP Orchestra. The Golden Snail is a symbol of quiet but persistent progress – it refers to the effectiveness in breaking down communication and social barriers. Congratulations once again to all those who were awarded! The Charity Auction, which we organized in part in cooperation with the Art in House Auction House, provided all participants with great emotions. The auction included works by Jacek Opała, Jan Bonawentura Ostrowski, Joanna Szumska, Joanna Roszkowska, Paulina Robotycka and Konrad Hamada. In addition to works of art, we also auctioned off game testing in the CD PROJEKT RED UX Lab, a guided visit to the SprintAir hangar, a balloon flight over the Mazowiecki Landscape Park with a pilot – Włodzimierz Klusek, VIP Weekend at Hacienda Cocuyo with attractions from Marek Zmysłowski. A special event during the auction was the auction of a training with Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk, who personally got involved in the auction. In addition to the public auction, a silent auction was held. All auctioned works can be viewed on the foundation’s website. The income from the auction was donated to the statutory purposes of the Foundation. A special guest of Kajetan that day was also Joanna Białasz, a beneficiary of the Foundation, who became a WHO ambassador. Joanna had a cochlear implant at the age of 2, then she underwent a laborious phase of rehabilitation and today she infects and inspires others with her passion. During the evening there were also artistic events, specially prepared recitals for this ceremony were performed by: Sarsa and Maciej Miecznikowski. The gala was hosted by: Miłka Skalska and Krzysztof Łobodziński (many thanks from the foundation).
